Gun Expansion Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

Gun Expansion Mod — by Knight Shadow — turns combat into a snap-aim, line-of-sight game. You’re no longer stuck trading swings at arm’s length; now you control space. Pull a mob from across a river, tag it twice before it reaches shore, and keep moving. In caves, peek corners, bait a rush, and punish from a safe lane. Out on the surface, high ground suddenly matters—set up on a ridge and clear a whole field without letting creepers anywhere near your builds.

The rhythm is simple and satisfying: pick your angle, fire in disciplined bursts, and respect the downtime between shots. That timing window is where skill shows—duck behind a tree, strafe out, land hits, tuck back in. For raids, hold an alley and thin waves before they hit the bell; for boss prep, secure gunpowder and drops without risky face-tanks. In PvP, range forces better decision-making—good players play cover, manage distance, and rotate instead of panic-jump spamming.

Drop it into a fresh world or an old save and reshape your routes. Farm nights feel safer, travel runs feel faster, and village defense stops being chaos. If you’ve been craving clean, readable ranged combat without changing the soul of the game, Gun Expansion Mod gives you that click-tight control—point, plan, and own the sightline.

Holding high ground suddenly turns your survivor into a genuine sentry. Instead of panicking when a raid horn echoes across the plains, you can mount a hillside ridge and drop approaching pillager scouts before they even enter crossbow distance. Inside tight subterranean corridors, the pace gets delightfully sweaty. You learn to slice the pie around sharp deepslate corners, pre-aiming dark junctions to tag cave spiders before they pounce off the ceiling. The combat rewards disciplined shot pacing rather than mindless trigger spam. Firing controlled bursts preserves your ammunition supply, while managing your reload cadence behind cover keeps aggressive zombies from swarming your position during the downtime.

The sheer versatility here shines brightest during multiplayer defense setups. Rather than having everyone dogpile an incoming horde in a chaotic friendly-fire mess, your squad can actually establish distinct fire sectors. One player anchors the village bell with heavy suppression fire while another takes out witches and evokers from a rooftop perch with precision single shots. PvP encounters also shed that obnoxious jump-crit spam meta. Players have to respect open spaces, use trees and boulders as hard cover, and time their rotations carefully across no-man's-land to avoid getting caught out in the open.

Even with projectile calculations flying through the air alongside custom weapon models, the client runs extraordinarily clean. The hit registration feels crisp without the dreaded bullet ghosting that ruins lesser combat packs, keeping the gunplay responsive across mobile glass, console controllers, and desktop setups. You do not get weird frame drops when picking off swarms at maximum draw distance, which keeps your aiming smooth during heavy nighttime firefights.

Injecting this arsenal into your active world takes less than two minutes. Import both the behavior and resource packs directly to your device storage, assign them to your target save in the world settings menu, and make sure to flip on your experimental gameplay switches so the custom items and ammo recipes compile properly. For anyone sick of the endless sword-and-shield slugfest who wants to lock down territory with cold, calculated marksmanship, this tactical upgrade turns your world into a clean tactical sandbox.
