Direction HUD Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

Direction HUD mod puts a crisp, always-visible compass on your action bar so you never lose your bearings in Minecraft Bedrock.

It’s the tiny overlay you didn’t realize you were missing. The readout flips smoothly as you turn—N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW—so you can sprint, build, or fight while your direction stays locked in your peripheral vision. No debug screen, no clunky item swapping, just instant orientation baked into the HUD. It’s lightweight scripting too, so it won’t mess with performance or clutter your screen; you get clean signal without the noise.

In practice, it’s clutch for real survival runs. Laying out a road straight east to your village? Face E and go—no accidental drift. Marking a Nether highway to line up portals eight-to-one with the Overworld? Hold W, carve the tunnel, drop signs every chunk. Elytra scouting gets smarter when you can call “hard south” to your squad and actually hold the line. Builders will love it for symmetry: align walls north–south, snap roof ridges east–west, and your mega base stops creeping off axis. On SMP, it’s pure quality of life—“meet at the north gate” finally means something, even for new players.

Direction HUD mod doesn’t overthink the problem; it solves it. A smooth, accurate cardinal and intercardinal display on the action bar, always there when you need it, never in the way when you don’t. If you want that sweet Java-style orientation without leaving Bedrock’s vibe, drop this in your pack and stop guessing where north went.
