Mass Destruction: Hammers + Excavators + Scythes Mod
Let’s be brutally honest. Strip mining with a standard vanilla pickaxe or manually leveling a massive dirt mountain block-by-block is the most tedious, wrist-breaking grind in the entire game. If you actually want to build massive mega-bases without spending hundreds of hours just prepping the terrain, you absolutely need to craft the Hammers, Excavators, and Scythes mod.

This incredibly vanilla-friendly expansion completely overhauls your late-game tool progression. Instead of clicking single blocks, you are equipped with heavy-duty gear that breaks everything in massive 3x3 areas. The Hammers act as giant pickaxes, allowing you to instantly carve out massive underground perimeters or blast through deepslate tunnels in seconds. The Excavators effortlessly chew through dirt and gravel. But the absolute best tool is the Scythe. Not only does it instantly clear out annoying tall grass in a 3x3 radius, but it also harvests and automatically replants your entire massive wheat or potato field in one swing. It completely removes the worst parts of the survival grind while keeping the vanilla progression perfectly balanced.

When you finally drop into the deepslate layers, the newly introduced Hammers are a total game-changer. Acting as a heavy-duty pickaxe, a single swing obliterates a 3x3 grid of solid stone and clustered ores. It turns slow, boring branch mining into a high-speed tunneling operation, allowing you to secure those diamond veins incredibly fast. On the flip side, when you inevitably run into massive, annoying pockets of gravel or need to level out a sprawling dirt plains biome, the Excavators take over. Functioning like an oversized shovel, they instantly clear soft terrain in the exact same 3x3 radius. Clearing out a beach for sand or digging a massive perimeter for a creeper farm suddenly takes minutes instead of draining your entire afternoon.

Farming is usually the most neglected chore on any server because manually breaking and replanting huge fields of crops is pure agony. The Scythes completely save the agricultural meta. Not only can you till a massive 3x3 grid of dirt instantly, but swinging this tool at mature crops harvests the food and automatically replants the seeds in one smooth, incredibly satisfying motion. It turns a massive harvest cycle into a five-second job, completely eliminating the need to build laggy redstone auto-farms just to keep your food supply stocked. Plus, if you need to clear out endless fields of annoying tall grass and weeds to lay down your foundation, a quick swipe with a scythe nukes the vegetation in a wide arc.

Rolling this pack onto a multiplayer Realm totally shifts the resource economy of your Discord group. Your squad can strip-mine entire coordinates in a fraction of the time, meaning everyone gets to focus on actually constructing epic builds rather than endlessly farming raw cobblestone. Even with multiple players deleting blocks simultaneously, the backend scripting is rock solid. The engine handles the multi-block breaking logic flawlessly without dropping your frames or leaving behind frustrating ghost blocks. Toss your old, primitive tools into a lava pit, craft this heavy machinery, and start tearing your world apart on a truly industrial scale.

Since you are now armed with the ultimate terraforming loadout, using this on a tiny wooden starter base is a massive waste of potential. You absolutely need to pair these tools with a hardcore Industrial Factory Addon or a massive Steampunk City map. You can use your Hammers to rapidly carve out gigantic underground facilities to house massive machines and auto-crafters. It is also an absolute necessity if you are playing on a massive Skygen or Prison Mine server, allowing you to instantly vacuum up thousands of blocks a minute.

Stop breaking your mouse clicking on single blocks, upgrade to the heavy machinery, and start reshaping your world!
