DL's Vanilla Hammers Addon are very productive hammers that move rock and 3x3 blocks. Vanilla Hammers Addon — a dead-simple power tool for Minecraft Bedrock that turns mining into “point, carve, done.” You swing once and eat a 3×3 chunk of stone, so strip mines, branch hubs, and base foundations go from hour-long grinds to quick passes. It still feels vanilla, just… turbo. The first time I lined up a tunnel and watched nine blocks pop at once, I knew I wasn’t going back to a regular pick for bulk work.
In practice, you play smarter, not sweatier. Stand centered on the line you want, aim where the tunnel should go, and the hammer carves a clean 2-block-tall hallway while you walk. For branch mining, I’ll run a main shaft, then pop 3×3 side lanes every few chunks so ores can’t hide behind single-block walls. Quarries get fun too—mark a rectangle and step-layer the ground until you’ve got a perfect building pad without staircase scars. Just watch your footing; a 3×3 bite can drop you into a cave or open a lava window if you’re greedy. I keep a water bucket, some cobble, and torches on hotbar to lock down surprises fast.
What makes this toolset hit so hard is how seamlessly it respects standard vanilla tier progression. You aren't getting some broken god-item right after spawning in. You craft your hammers through intuitive, familiar recipes scaling from basic Wood and Stone up to Iron, Gold, Diamond, and Netherite. Mining tiers operate exactly like standard pickaxes—a stone hammer won't drop diamond ore, and you still need high-end materials to crush through ancient debris. Even better, your hammers fully support top-tier enchantments. Slap on Unbreaking III to extend the lifespan of your heavy hits, drop Fortune III to make raw ore rain into your inventory, or use Silk Touch to scoop up clean stone blocks and ice without turning them to rubble.
Beyond basic branch mining, these heavy hitters completely change how you plan out massive build projects. Need an expansive footprint for an automatic iron farm or a subterranean trading hall? Two or three deliberate passes with a diamond hammer instantly hollow out the rough chamber, leaving you free to swap over to a standard pick for precision detailing. Over in the Nether, punching out wide, ghast-proof transport corridors suddenly becomes a quick sprint instead of a nerve-wracking chore. Just make sure you keep an eye on your footing—carving out nine blocks at once means you can expose hidden lava pockets or cavern drops in a heartbeat if you rush blindly through the dark.
Best of all, the entire addon runs on remarkably clean, lightweight scripting that skips messy experimental toggles. That means you won't experience choppy chunk-loading spikes, broken hitboxes, or server desync when multiple players are swinging hammers simultaneously on a shared Realm. Whether you're grinding on an Xbox, playing on a gaming PC, or tapping away on mobile Bedrock, the frame rate stays rock solid.
Building is where it really sings. Need a storage room or a mega-farm footprint? Two or three passes and the space is roughed in, then you swap back to a normal pick for detail work. The Nether benefits, too: carve safe-width tunnels with quick torch marks so ghasts can’t grief your route. You’re still playing legit Minecraft Bedrock—gather, plan, execute—but the Vanilla Hammers Addon turns big ideas into doable weekend projects. Line up the shot, break 3×3, and let the world open up.
