Essence++ Mod / Addon

Essence++ mod is a vanilla-friendly expansion for Minecraft Bedrock that adds just enough new toys to matter—without breaking the feel of the base game. You’re getting quality-of-life wins and fresh progression beats: a functional Backpack, Vertical Slabs, new emerald/obsidian weapons and armor, Obsidian Glass/Ingots, plus a couple of simple foods and off-hand dynamic light for cleaner caving.

The backpack is the star because it changes how you move. Sneak while holding any item and hit to stash it straight into the bag; sneak with dye to recolor the backpack on the spot—every color’s fair game. Early runs get way less scuffed when you can scoop loot and keep sprinting instead of inventory Tetris every five minutes. Pair that with off-hand light and you’ve got smooth cave routes: torch or light item in off-hand, see where you’re going, keep the main hand free for tools or a sword.



Builders, the Vertical Slabs are the fix we’ve wanted forever. Place them while sneaking and finally break up those flat walls, frame windows, or stripe floors without clunky block combos. Obsidian Glass and Obsidian Ingots add a darker, tougher aesthetic for nether halls or vault vibes, and the emerald/obsidian weapon and armor lines give you new sets to craft when you’re tired of the usual iron-diamond loop. It’s not “press button, win fight” gear—just proper alternatives that slot into Survival naturally.

For pacing, I like to start a world with the backpack ASAP, then build with vertical slabs while I stock Amethyst Apples and a Fried Egg stack as handy travel food. Once I’m set, I push for obsidian gear and swap the base’s windows to Obsidian Glass for a cleaner look. The whole pack stays lightweight and respectful of vanilla design, so it plays nice with your texture pack loadout and other add-ons. If you want Minecraft Bedrock to feel like itself—just more capable—Essence++ mod hits that sweet spot.

- Open the downloaded file to install;
- Select it in the settings;
