This addon makes light work like you'd expect —
hold a torch, and it actually lights stuff up while you move. No need to place it.

It also works with other light sources like lanterns or glowstone in your hand or offhand.
Simple change, but it makes mining, cave runs, and nighttime survival feel way better.
