Medieval Alliance Minecraft mod will add new mechanics, companion mobs and many useful things. Tame a helper and he will help in battle. A knight at your side, an archer behind you, and a mage ready to join the fight—suddenly that trip through hostile territory feels like a proper medieval adventure. Medieval Alliance lets you recruit companions in Minecraft Bedrock and build a squad that can follow you into battle.
The lineup includes Knights, Archers, Mages, and Cavalry, each bringing a different fighting style to your team. Once tamed, they follow and defend you, so you don’t have to face every zombie pack or nighttime ambush alone. Recruiting them takes food rather than a complicated quest: Knights, Archers, and Cavalry can be tamed with cooked meat, while Wizards prefer stews such as mushroom, rabbit, or suspicious stew. Pack a few meals before heading out, and you could return with more than the loot you set out to find.
Choosing who to bring along is part of the fun. A Knight suits the player who wants a close-range ally, while an Archer adds ranged support when enemies are approaching from a distance. Bring a Mage into the mix if you want some fantasy flavor alongside your weapons and armor. You can put together a small group for a mining trip or gather several companions before exploring above ground. They’ll help in combat, but you still need to pay attention to your surroundings; a squad is much more useful when you’re not leading it straight into a mess you can’t handle.
The addon also introduces the Grothorn, a creature associated with the Cavalry. You can tame one using fruit or vegetables, giving you another reason to keep some farm produce in your inventory. Between mounted units and armored allies on foot, your group can look right at home beside a castle gate or on the road to a distant village. If you enjoy medieval builds, try making a barracks or courtyard for your companions. It’s a player-built home for the squad, and a good excuse to give that empty castle wing a purpose.
Magic isn’t reserved for your recruited allies. Medieval Alliance adds Gravity Ore, Lightning Ore, and Poison Ore, which are used to craft magical staffs. These ores can be found between Y levels 13 and -25, so keep an eye out while mining in that range. Each type leads toward a different staff, giving you something new to work on between expeditions. The addon also adds a War Axe if you prefer the feel of a close-range weapon. Carrying one into a fight alongside a Knight and an Archer makes for a pretty convincing adventuring party.
You may also meet a Wanderer who trades useful items, adding another way to get involved with the addon’s equipment. Stop and check the offers when you find one; the right trade could help you work toward your next piece of magical gear.
Medieval Alliance fits nicely into a survival world where you want a few dependable companions and more reasons to explore. Recruit your favorites, gather materials for a staff, and see where your squad ends up. Just remember to bring enough cooked meat—your future Knight isn’t joining on an empty stomach.
