Maces Plus Mod will allow crafting new beautiful and larger maces for Minecraft Bedrock. A mace is one of the most satisfying weapons in Minecraft when you land the hit—and one of the most embarrassing when you miss. Maces Plus gives you seven more to try, including wooden and stone options you can make before finding a Heavy Core.
That matters because the regular mace can take some time to obtain. With this addon, you can make a wooden mace from a stick and a log or stem, then start practicing while your equipment is still fairly basic. It will not hit as hard as the regular mace, but you do not have to be precious about taking it out for a test. The stone mace is another early option. Its recipe uses a stick and a suitable chiseled stone block, and it gives you a little more power. Both are useful if you like the idea of a falling attack but have not yet got the timing down.
The rest of the collection follows materials you already know: copper, iron, gold, diamond, and Netherite. These are stronger than the wooden and stone maces, but their recipes require the regular mace, so finding a Heavy Core remains part of the job. Once you have one, you can decide which upgrade is worth your materials. Copper gives you a step above the regular weapon, iron and gold hit harder, and the diamond and Netherite maces are the choices to aim for when you want the biggest smash attacks. Their knockback gets stronger too, which can make a noticeable difference when you are trying to keep enemies away.
Like the regular mace, these weapons reward a hit made while falling. The farther you fall before striking your target, the more damage the smash can deal, with each material using its own damage multiplier. Of course, first you have to land the hit. A zombie moving out of the way at the last second can turn a promising attack into a rough landing, so it helps to practice somewhere you have room to recover. Try a few jumps with the cheaper maces before taking your favorite into a crowded fight. Once the timing starts to feel natural, dropping onto an enemy from above is a lot more fun than simply waiting for it to reach you.
The iron, gold, diamond, and Netherite maces can also damage enemies near the one you hit. The stronger choices cover a larger area, which is handy when several mobs are close together. Knockback can give you breathing room as well, although pushing an enemy away does not necessarily finish the fight. Each mace has its own smash sounds, so a hit with the wooden weapon has a different feel from one with the heavier options. If you are building a combat arena with friends, trying the different materials against the same group of mobs is an easy way to see which one you prefer.
You can enchant the new maces with familiar choices such as Density, Breach, Wind Burst, Unbreaking, and Mending. That gives you a reason to keep using one after the first few experiments, especially if you find a material and enchantment combination you enjoy. Maces Plus is for players who want to make mace combat part of their adventure earlier and continue improving their weapon later. Start with wood, see how often you can actually land that falling hit, and save the more valuable materials for the mace you want to take into your next serious fight.
