Waifus Gif Paintings Addon for Waifus gif paintings in Minecraft Bedrock. A Minecraft house can have everything you need and still feel a little empty. You’ve got a bed, a crafting table, chests full of supplies and maybe a few windows overlooking the farm, but those bare walls could use something more interesting. Waifus Gif Paintings adds animated portraits that you can hang around your home. If you enjoy anime-inspired decorations, it’s an easy way to make your rooms feel more personal.
The add-on includes 28 animated waifu portraits, giving you a selection of pictures to look through when decorating. The movement is what makes them stand out from ordinary Minecraft paintings. Hang one above a desk, put another near your bed or give a long hallway something to look at besides rows of torches. You don’t need to rebuild your house around them, either. A single picture can work just as well in a small starter home as it does in a much bigger build.
Making a GIF painting starts with a regular Minecraft painting. Use one in the crafting recipe to create the new decoration, then find a suitable block and right-click to place it. Once it’s up, hit the painting to change the image and cycle through the available portraits. That makes it easy to try different options without having to commit to the first one you see. If a picture doesn’t suit the room, keep switching until you find one you like.
When you place a painting, you may notice a box around it. You can remove the box by sneaking and right-clicking, leaving the picture ready to fit into your interior. Take a little time to find a spot where you can see it comfortably: a portrait tucked behind furniture or squeezed into a crowded corner might be easy to miss. An open wall gives the animation more room to catch your eye, especially in a room you visit often.
There are plenty of ways to use the paintings without covering every wall. Try adding one to a bedroom for a personal touch, or make a small lounge where the pictures are part of the main decoration. If you have a modern house, they can sit alongside bookshelves, plants and other details. In a survival base built mostly for storage, a few portraits can break up the usual pattern of chests and furnaces. You could even set aside a separate room for your favourites and change the display whenever you want a different look.
What’s nice about this add-on is that it gives you something decorative to make while you’re playing survival. If you already have a painting and a place for it, you can start experimenting with the portraits in your own home. There’s no need to plan an enormous project: put one up, see how it looks and build the rest of the room around it if inspiration strikes. Whether you prefer a single animated picture beside your bed or a collection spread throughout your base, Waifus Gif Paintings gives you another way to make a Minecraft build feel like yours.
