Combat+ — PvP textures that actually help you fight (Minecraft Bedrock)

If you live in Bedrock PvP and you’re tired of chunky visuals getting in the way, Combat+ – Addon / Texture Pack is the clean swap that makes fights feel readable again. It’s a work-in-progress, but what’s already in is the good stuff: reimagined sword textures and sharper GUI elements that cut the clutter without messing with gameplay. Hitboxes stay the same, timing stays the same—the difference is what you see when the lobby goes loud.

I ran a bunch of duels and noticed it immediately. The swords have tighter silhouettes and punchy edges, so you can track swing lines and block timing at a glance. No more “what am I holding?” moments mid-swap—the visual profile of each sword tier is distinct enough that your brain recognizes it as you hotkey. The UI changes are the quiet MVP: a cleaner hotbar, crisper hearts and armor, and a crosshair that stays sharp on bright maps and dark arenas alike. Durability and hunger bars are easier to parse in peripheral vision, which sounds small until you decide whether to push or kite with three shanks left.

Because it’s textures only, achievements stay on and performance doesn’t tank—perfect for phones, older consoles, and potato laptops. In team modes, the reduced visual noise helps callouts land (“low left, pearl now”) because you aren’t squinting at a muddy HUD. In survival, it still looks great; the redesigned swords feel premium without turning your world into an esports overlay.

It’s still growing, but even at this stage Combat+ hits the point: smarter swords, cleaner GUI, better fights. If you want Minecraft Bedrock PvP to look as tight as it plays, install it, queue a duel, and enjoy seeing everything that matters—no extra glitter, no dead pixels, just crisp combat.
