Advanced Waypoint Mod basically turns navigation into something you can actually rely on day-to-day instead of scribbling notes or spamming screenshots. You get a real-time HUD compass when you hold the manager item, and you also get a clean menu for saving locations and teleporting to them. It works for solo worlds, but it really shines once you’ve got multiple bases, farms, or server spots to keep track of.
The HUD is the feature you’ll feel constantly. Your Action Bar becomes a live compass that shows direction, distance, and whether your target is above or below you, so you’re not guessing when you’re tunneling or climbing. “Auto-Nearest” is clutch when you just want it to track whatever saved spot is closest, and pinning a waypoint is perfect when you’re locked in on one base and don’t want the target to keep switching. There’s also an arrival detection that triggers when you get within 6 blocks, with a success chime and a title, which is honestly nice when you’re sprinting through chaos and don’t want to overshoot your marker.
Advanced Waypoint Mod also leans hard into visuals, so waypoints aren’t just text in a list. You can enable in-world flags or flip on beacon beams, and there are different beam styles like End Rod sparkles, Totem green, Fire red, and even a particle helix that kicks in when you get close. On top of that, you can customize your waypoint look with different text colors and map icons like caves, houses, or flames, which helps a ton once your list gets long and you need to spot “home” versus “mine” instantly. The Favorites system is simple but underrated too—star the important spots so they always stay at the top.
Teleporting is handled through a UI menu where you can jump to private points, public server warps, or even your saved death coordinates so you can get back to your items without the long walk of shame. If you’re running a server, Advanced Waypoint Mod supports economy balancing by letting admins set XP costs or hook teleport costs to a Scoreboard Objective like “money” or “coins.” Multiplayer tools are built in as well: you can share locations, grant access using tags for teams, and even send a “Teleport Request” from the menu so another player can accept and instantly teleport to you. Admins also get serious control options like viewing all server waypoints, deleting bad ones, wiping player data, setting waypoint limits, or turning on maintenance mode to disable teleporting when needed.
Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
