The Lost Mobs Mod / Addon

The Lost Mobs Minecraft mod will add many new mobs: Iceologer, Glare, Tuff Golem, Rascal, Great Hunger, WildFire, Barnacle, Moobloom, Crab, Penguin and others. Somewhere in an alternate Minecraft universe, penguins are speeding up boats, crabs are helping builders, and the Iceologer is ruining everyone's mountain adventures. The Lost Mobs Addon brings ten creatures that lost Minecraft's Mob Votes into Bedrock, finally giving those forgotten ideas a chance to cause trouble, help with survival, or simply make the world more interesting. And these aren't just decorative animals wandering around for screenshots. Each creature has its own behavior, which means there's actually something worth discovering when you run into one. I would probably spend my first evening hunting down the Rascal, mostly because a little creature playing hide and seek underground sounds like a much better mining distraction than another tunnel full of gravel.

The Rascal rewards players who manage to find it during its hiding game, making underground exploration a little more entertaining. The Great Hunger has an even stranger trick. Give it an ordinary unenchanted tool, and it can return that tool with a random enchantment. That's the kind of interaction I'd definitely experiment with before wasting my best equipment. Meanwhile, the Glare helps you identify dark areas where hostile mobs might appear, which could be useful when you're lighting up a massive cave or checking the basement of your survival base. Then there's the Tuff Golem, a small companion that enjoys holding items and occasionally falls asleep. You can wake it up through interaction, making it a charming addition to a workshop or treasure room. These creatures feel like they belong in different parts of a normal survival adventure rather than existing purely to increase the mob count.

Not every lost mob is interested in being your buddy, though. The Iceologer can launch a huge chunk of ice toward you, turning a snowy expedition into a fight you probably didn't prepare for. The Wildfire is another serious opponent, resembling a much tougher Blaze protected by shields that must be destroyed before you can properly damage it. And if you thought the ocean was peaceful once you escaped the drowned, meet the Barnacle. This underwater monster can drag players into the depths, making careless swimming a terrible idea. Fortunately, the addon also introduces friendlier creatures. Mooblooms love dandelions, while penguins can increase your boat speed when you bring them close enough. Crabs offer something particularly useful for builders: their claws can extend your block placement reach. I'd happily visit a beach just to get that advantage before starting another oversized castle.

What makes The Lost Mobs especially fun is imagining how different Minecraft could have been if these creatures had won their original votes. You could build a flower garden for Mooblooms, keep a Tuff Golem inside your storage room, or head into the Nether specifically to challenge the Wildfire. There are plenty of reasons to explore beyond simply collecting every mob. To install the addon, import the Minecraft package and activate its resource and behavior packs in your world settings. The addon also requires the Beta APIs experimental option for its scripted features. Once everything is ready, I'd start a fresh survival adventure and let the encounters happen naturally. Finding a strange creature unexpectedly is half the fun, especially when you have no idea whether it's about to reward you, attack you, or steal your attention for the next twenty minutes.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!

{text} Looking at the global settings, and pressing "activate", the game tells me there's missing dependencies, any idea what those would be?
