Baby Mobs Only Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

Baby Mobs Only Mod is a new way for mobs to appear, now there will be baby mobs and they will grow into adult mobs. The first thing you might notice with Baby Mobs Only is a field full of tiny cows, pigs, and sheep. They look harmless enough, and a farm filled with small animals has a certain charm. Then a baby zombie comes racing toward you, and the idea starts to feel a little different. This addon changes how supported mobs appear in Minecraft: instead of spawning as adults, they appear in their baby forms. The change covers more than farm animals, so you can expect to meet smaller creatures while exploring forests, visiting villages, and dealing with familiar enemies. It is a simple idea, but it can make an ordinary survival world feel surprisingly unusual.

Cows, pigs, chickens, rabbits, horses, wolves, and cats are among the affected animals. The list also includes creatures such as foxes, pandas, turtles, and axolotls. According to the addon’s detailed description, the change applies when supported mobs spawn naturally, appear from spawn eggs, or are born through breeding. It also says that they stay young rather than growing into adults, even when fed. That is worth keeping in mind before building a farm around them. If you are used to raising animals and waiting for them to grow, your usual routine may need some adjustment. A pen full of little sheep might look delightful, but you should check how your usual sources of wool, food, and other materials work before relying on them. Some baby mobs may give fewer drops or none at all, which can make gathering supplies more demanding.

The hostile side of the addon is likely to get your attention even faster. Baby zombies are already known for being quick and difficult to hit, and with this pack they become the expected form rather than an occasional surprise. Husks, drowned, and zoglins are also included in the affected list. A smaller target can be easy to lose sight of in tall grass or a crowded fight, so keeping some distance and paying attention to the ground around you becomes useful. Villagers and zombie villagers are affected too, giving settlements a rather unusual appearance. If you have a favorite village, visiting it with the pack active could be an interesting way to see how much one change alters the atmosphere. The rule applies to the mobs covered by the addon; it does not mean that every creature in Minecraft becomes a baby.

Baby Mobs Only works well as a survival challenge because its effects reach into several parts of the game at once. Food supplies may take more thought, nighttime encounters can feel more frantic, and familiar animals remain small as you travel from biome to biome. You could begin a new world and see how far you get with those conditions, or try the pack in a copy of an existing world to see how it fits your usual play style. It can also make a lighthearted game with friends: build a small settlement, explore together, and see who notices the baby zombie first. To get started, open the downloaded file in Minecraft and activate the behavior pack in your world settings. Once you enter the world, take a look around before assuming that a tiny mob is an easy one to deal with.

Installation Mod:

- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
