Block Duplicator Addon will allow you to duplicate resources and blocks and other lovely things. Easy and fast way to get blocks. You’re halfway through building a house when you run out of stone bricks. There’s still a roof to finish, the walls need another layer, and the nearest good supply of stone is a long walk away. Block Duplicator offers a way around that problem. It adds a special table that lets you turn supported blocks and items into larger quantities, so you can spend less time gathering the same materials and more time using them. The addon works with more than just building blocks: resources, food and various other items can be duplicated too.



Before you start multiplying your supplies, you’ll need to make the duplicator itself. The recipe calls for four cherry planks and two echo shards. Ordinary wooden planks won’t do, so you’ll need to find a cherry grove if you haven’t collected any cherry wood yet. The echo shards may take more effort because they’re found in ancient cities. That means a trip into the Deep Dark, where you’ll want to watch your step and be careful around sculk sensors. Once you have the materials, craft the table and place it somewhere convenient, such as next to your crafting table and storage chests.

Using it is straightforward: open the Block Duplicator and choose an available duplication recipe. A supported block or item can be turned into five, giving you more to work with from a small starting supply. Stone bricks are an obvious choice when you’re working on a large building, but you can also duplicate materials such as iron, diamonds and food. Check the recipes in the table to see what’s available for the item you want to copy. It’s a useful way to deal with those moments when you have just a few pieces of a material left and don’t feel like stopping everything to collect more.

Builders will probably get plenty of use out of the table. A single house might not require much planning, but a castle, a long road or a decorated village can quickly eat through stacks of blocks. With a duplicator nearby, it’s easier to try out ideas without worrying quite so much about the cost. You could test a roof design, change your mind and rebuild it in another material without making several trips back to the mine. It’s handy for smaller details too. If you’ve found a block that looks just right beside your front door, you can make more of it and carry the same style through the rest of the build.

The addon changes the balance of survival quite a bit, particularly once you start copying valuable resources. Finding one diamond can go much further than it normally would, and gathering enough food for a journey becomes less of a chore. If you still enjoy the challenge of mining and farming, you can always choose to use the table only for certain materials. On a shared world, it may be worth agreeing with friends on how everyone wants to use it. Whether you use it to finish a huge project or simply keep a few extra supplies at home, the duplicator gives you a quick way to get back to whatever you were doing.
