Dragon Mounts 2 is the new version of the most popular dragon mod in Minecraft Bedrock.
The mod adds 22 new dragons, 3 items, 14 swords, 4 biomes and several other items. This is a huge addon which adds a lot of new. I have not yet seen such a large and detailed mod about dragons. The author did a great job. Dragon Mounts 2 for those who want to play in the world of dragons. See the pictures below for a more detailed description of each dragon.
Slapping the Ender Dragon egg onto an item frame as glorified living-room decor is officially dead thanks to the Dragon Mounts 2 Add-on, which lets you hatch, tame, and take to the skies on an entire fleet of elemental winged beasts across Minecraft Bedrock.
For over a decade, taking down the final boss left you with nothing more than an awkward teleporting obsidian pebble that offered zero late-game utility. This overhaul treats that hard-won victory like the ultimate breeding ticket, handing you the keys to hatch everything from shadowy Nether drakes to frostbitten leviathans. You aren't just getting one oversized lizard skin either; the lineup spans distinct elemental lineages, each tied directly to how you incubate your eggs and which corner of the map you claim as your territory.
Hatching one of these behemoths turns survival into a full-scale incubation science project. Toss an egg into bubbling lava, and you wake up an ash-breathing Nether dragon built to tank extreme heat. Plant one deep in freezing taiga ice sheets, and you spawn a razor-winged Frost drake that dominates cold airspace. There are forest stalkers, storm-riding Aether breeds, and ethereal Ghost dragons that look downright terrifying cruising against a pitch-black midnight sky. Getting them from helpless hatchlings to massive apex predators requires serious dedication—hand-feeding them raw fish and meat while watching their scale plates harden into adult warframes.
Once you forge custom saddles and heavy dragon armor, standard elytra glides feel like running on training wheels. The flight physics hit that sweet spot of weight and momentum: you can dive-bomb off sheer mountain peaks, lock into aggressive horizontal cruising speeds, and bank hard over ravines to scout out unexplored biomes. Calling your drake mid-expedition is stupidly smooth using crafted whistles, meaning your flying artillery won't just vanish into unloaded chunks while you're clearing cave systems. And when night-cycle horrors swarm your compound, raining down fire from fifty blocks overhead makes standard bow combat look completely obsolete.
Drop this onto an active multiplayer Realm or private survival server, and base defense permanently changes overnight. Forget ground barricades—your squad can build massive cliffside rookeries, stage territorial dogfights over unclaimed village valleys, and coordinate synchronized aerial drops on raid outposts. Watching three different dragon species carve through the clouds while your Discord crew coordinates patrol zones gives Bedrock that elusive high-fantasy grit it has always lacked.
Even better, the flight scripts and custom hitbox physics play remarkably nice with Bedrock’s render engine, ensuring you don't get trapped in mid-air stutter freezes when loading fresh chunks on mobile screens, consoles, or high-refresh PC monitors. Pack some raw rations, hunt down your first clutch of eggs, and grab the Dragon Mounts 2 Add-on to build your own personal air fleet before someone else on the server claims the skies.
