Social Villagers Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

Trading with villagers in vanilla Minecraft usually feels like dealing with depressed squid people who only know how to say "hrmm," but the Social Villagers addon finally gives these potato farmers an actual pulse. FleetMc Studio just dropped an overhaul that turns stale Bedrock trading halls into lively, chaotic communities.

The centerpiece here is the voice acting. Instead of that monotone grunting, you get over 120 fully voiced dialogue lines that fire off based on genuine sandbox context. Villagers aren't passive set dressing anymore; they react directly to whatever nonsense you're pulling in the area. Light a block of TNT, smash someone's bed, or sprint around holding a lit firework, and they will genuinely call you out or freak out in real-time. Paired with custom animated facial expressions, you'll catch them glaring at you when you’re being annoying, laughing during friendly moments, or shaking in terror whenever a zombie horde stumbles into town. They even call you weird if you just stand there sneaking and staring at them unblinkingly.

Beyond their reactions to the player, their everyday routines got a massive glow-up. Villagers now spawn with unique personality archetypes—like Grumpy, Cheerful, or Timid—which directly dictate how they treat you and how they chat with their neighbors. Groups will gather in the middle of town to gossip, celebrate good trade deals, or complain about miserable weather. Drop a music disc into a nearby jukebox, and the local fletcher and armorer will straight-up break into synchronized dance animations in the town square. There’s even a built-in reputation system where being a menace ruins your village standing, while feeding folks and completing legit trades earns you major community clout.

Baby villagers also get their own playful dialogue trees, but the absolute peak of this pack is the shears mechanic. You can literally walk up to any unsuspecting villager, snip their iconic honker clean off their face with a pair of shears, and carry the custom Villager Nose item in your inventory until you feel generous enough to stick it back on. It’s hilariously unhinged.

Whether you’re grinding an active survival realm or just building out a custom medieval kingdom, this Minecraft Bedrock addon injects top-tier character into the most boring mobs in the game. It’s goofy, technically polished, and easily one of the best village overhauls available for MCPE right now.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
