In standard survival, equipping an Elytra forces you to sacrifice your chestplate, leaving you dangerously vulnerable to sniper fire or a random creeper blast. Edeya Wings completely bypasses that awful trade-off. The developer managed to free up the torso slot entirely, meaning you can finally rock your max-level Netherite chestplate while retaining absolute aerial superiority. You are essentially turning yourself into an armored gunship.
Setting this up on your realm is super easy, but you absolutely have to remember to flip on the experimental API toggles in your world settings before loading in, otherwise the custom flight animations will break.
