Sneak Mend Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

Relying on random XP orbs to fix your mending gear is honestly pretty frustrating. You finally set up a mob farm or go mining for quartz, and half the experience just gets absorbed by your armor or goes straight into your level bar instead of the almost-broken pickaxe you are actually trying to save. Sneak Mend fixes this by letting you manually pump your stored XP directly into your damaged tools. You don't have to awkwardly juggle items in your hotbar while running around picking up orbs anymore.

Mending your prized gear just got stripped of the mind-numbing XP grind thanks to the Sneak Mend Addon, a wicked quality-of-life upgrade for Minecraft Bedrock that lets you repair damaged tools simply by holding crouch.

We’ve all lived through the pain: you’re deep into an epic subterranean excavation or building a multi-chunk fortress, and suddenly that red durability bar on your god-tier Netherite pickaxe starts screaming for mercy. In vanilla gameplay, you’re stuck packing up your entire setup, jogging over to a clunky Enderman XP farm, and mindlessly swinging a sword for twenty straight minutes just to siphon green orbs into your equipment. It kills your entire creative flow and turns a hyped building session into a chore. Sneak Mend tosses that archaic ritual straight into the incinerator by anchoring your repair loop directly to your movement.

The mechanics here are dead simple yet ridiculously intuitive. Whenever you strap on damaged armor or slot cracked weapons into your main hands, you simply toggle your sneak button. While crouched, the script automatically begins patching up your gear's durability in real time. It doesn't rely on random exploits or glitchy command chains; instead, it hooks seamlessly into your player state, slowly ticking your item durability back up to full health. You can literally take a breather behind a pillar during a chaotic dungeon crawl, duck down, and watch your battered chestplate stitch itself back together before you dive back into the fray.

What makes this MCPE utility mod such a certified win for survival enthusiasts is how naturally it fits into long exploration expeditions. Picture roaming thousands of blocks out into the Nether or navigating perilous End cities: one wrong step usually leaves your Elytra frayed and on the verge of snapping mid-flight. With this pack loaded into your behavior stack, you can land safely on a chorus plant island, crouch down for a few quiet moments, and take off again with fresh wings without burning through a single bottle of enchanting. It turns camping out in the wild into a functional maintenance phase that keeps you self-sufficient no matter how far you drift from your home base.

As long as the item has the Mending enchantment on it, you just hold it, crouch, and hold down the use button while looking up at the air (just make sure you aren't pointing directly at a block). You can actively watch your XP bar slowly drain while the tool's durability goes back up.

The mechanics are super precise, too. The addon automatically stops pulling your levels the exact second the item is fully repaired, so you never accidentally waste any of your hard-earned experience. It’s a very small quality-of-life tweak, but it makes standard survival gameplay significantly less annoying, and the tap-and-hold setup works perfectly fine if you are playing on mobile instead of PC.
