Better Days Played – Addon / Texture Pack

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21 / Textures

Better Days Played is a useful mod for improved display of coordinates and additional information about your day in Minecraft. Checking your world progress shouldn't feel like an eye-tracking workout, and the Better Days Played Addon & Texture Pack fixes that by pulling your day counter and coordinates out of the boonies and parking them right above your hotbar. It clears the clutter from the corner of your screen, giving you vital survival stats where your eyes naturally rest during heated gameplay.

Vanilla Bedrock has a weird habit of tucking crucial data way up into the top-left corner of the monitor. When you're mid-sprint across a shattered savanna, dodging phantom strikes, or clutching an ender pearl throw in the Nether, flicking your eyes up to the top margin just to check your XYZ axis or day count is a recipe for taking a lava bath. You lose sight of your crosshair, misjudge block distance, and throw off your whole rhythm. This pack cleans up that layout entirely. By shifting both your real-time position coordinates and total day count directly above your hotbar slots, all your vital navigational info sits right in your lower central vision. You can monitor your elevation while branch mining at negative Y-levels without breaking your mining cadence for even a second.

The flexibility baked into the subpack settings makes dialing in your ideal layout super straightforward. Opening the gear icon on the resource menu lets you swap between distinct UI arrangements to match your setup. Whether you run an ultra-clean layout with just the centered day counter, prefer both coordinates and day progression stacked neatly together, or want additional directional readouts like integrated compass or clock tracking above your slots, you can lock in what fits your playstyle. It turns long-term survival projects into a flex, letting you watch your day streak tick upward while keeping your main field of view completely open for mob tracking.

Competitive players and hardcore survival builders will appreciate how clean this makes recording sessions and server runs. Streaming a 100-day hardcore run or clipping PvP clutches on featured servers looks way more polished when viewers can instantly spot your world days and location without hunting for tiny text in the upper margins. Mobile gamers playing on tight phone screens get an even bigger boost, since consolidating the telemetry above the action buttons stops touch controls from getting in the way of vital readouts.

Performance stays totally untouched because this operates strictly through Bedrock's lightweight JSON interface files. It doesn't drag down your frame rates with messy background scripts or spawn extra entity lag in your world ticks. Everything remains snappy, responsive, and locked into your native rendering limits.

Setting it up takes less than a minute. Grab the `.mcpack` file, launch it to trigger the automated Bedrock import, slide it into your active global resources, and make sure "Show Coordinates" and "Show Days Played" are toggled on in your standard game world settings. It runs completely achievement-safe on survival realms and local worlds without demanding risky experimental gameplay toggles. If you want your survival HUD to feel cohesive, modern, and built for real gameplay focus, hooking up the Better Days Played Addon & Texture Pack is hands-down the slickest UI tweak you can add to your client.

Installation:
