Villager Soldier Vanilla Version 7 Mod / Addon

Mods 1.26 / Mods 1.21

Villager Soldier Vanilla Version 7: Labor & Production Force Minecraft is a very popular mod that will turn villagers into real armed soldiers.

The raid horn sounds, villagers scatter, and this time your iron golem isn’t the only one ready to fight. Villager Soldier Vanilla Version 7 adds guards, golems, and a working village labor force to Minecraft Bedrock, giving you a settlement worth defending and a crew to help you do it. You can recruit villagers into new roles and build up a group of defenders around your community. Melee and ranged units give you more options when hostile mobs come knocking, while the soldier management table helps you keep track of your identified troops. There’s a Team Book for checking your team’s size and nearby members, too. That’s useful when you’ve recruited several villagers and want to know who’s actually around before trouble starts.

Version 7 also introduces the Free Handle system, which puts villagers to work in production. Give an ordinary villager a Free Handle Decree to recruit them, then keep bread on hand: each worker consumes one loaf per day as wages. Skip their pay for three days and they return to being a regular villager. The system covers 13 professions, with workers earning experience and progressing from level 0 to level 5. A butcher can cook raw meat and turn pumpkins into pies, while a fletcher can make bows and crossbows. Those jobs give you a reason to think about what your village needs, whether that’s food for a growing workforce or equipment for the people guarding it. Just remember that a bigger crew means a bigger bread bill.

The Stone Tortoise Corps is where village defense gets wonderfully weird. These giant tortoises can be tamed, and Version 7 includes variants built around a turret carrier, a potato cannon, and a ballista. They can also be healed with cobblestone, and their banners can be dyed. Picture one stationed near the entrance to your village while you prepare for a raid. It’s a long way from relying on a single iron golem to handle every threat. The update also adds a flag feature for teleporting specific units, plus quick-equipment items for full armor sets. Between organizing your troops and deciding where a giant weapon-carrying tortoise belongs, there’s plenty to do before the first fight even starts.

Villager Soldier Vanilla is a fun fit for players who like developing settlements over several sessions. Build a barracks, expand your wheat farm to support your workers, or give each profession its own place in town. The addon focuses on villagers and extra golems without changing illagers, so raids can still bring familiar enemies to your new defenses. The linked download is version 7.0.3 as an .mcaddon file. Open it to import the addon into Minecraft Bedrock, then enable its behavior and resource packs in your world settings. No experimental toggles are required for this version. Once your village is ready, recruit a few helpers, stock up on bread, and see how your new defenders handle the next raid.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
