Chaos Wands Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.26

Chaos Wands Addon 7 powerful magic wands of chaos. Each wand will give you its own power! A creeper is dangerous enough when you find one outside your house. Now imagine summoning a whole group of them yourself. That’s the sort of trouble waiting in Chaos Wands, an add-on that gives you magical weapons with wildly different effects. Some are useful for attacking from a distance, while others can turn a peaceful patch of land into a crater in seconds. If you’ve ever wanted a little more chaos in your Minecraft world, these wands will certainly give you a way to create it.

Before you can start casting, you’ll need a Wand Stick. Make one by placing a diamond, a stick and lapis lazuli in a vertical line on the crafting table. It acts as the starting point for the other wands, so you’ll want to keep an eye out for those materials while exploring. Each wand has its own crafting recipe and ability. Some require more valuable ingredients, which gives you something to work towards as you collect resources and take on tougher enemies.

The Creeper Wand is a good example of why the add-on has “chaos in its name. Use it and creepers appear around you, turning the area into a very uncomfortable place to stand. There’s also a charged creeper wand if ordinary creepers somehow don’t feel dangerous enough. These aren’t the kind of tools you’ll want to test in the middle of your carefully built village. Take them somewhere open, make sure you have an escape route and be ready for things to get out of hand quickly.

The TNT Wand is just as likely to leave a mark on the landscape. It drops primed TNT around the area, so the explosions follow soon after you use it. You could try it in a world where you’re happy to see what happens, or set up a separate testing area far away from anything you want to keep. There’s a waiting period between uses, which gives you a moment to look at the damage and decide whether another round is really a good idea.

If you’d rather aim at a target than fill the ground around you with explosives, the Wither Wand fires wither skulls in the direction you’re looking. A charged variant shoots the more dangerous blue skulls. There’s also a Skeleton Wand that fires arrows, giving you another ranged option to try against mobs. Each one has its own feel: the arrows are suited to quick shots, while the wither skulls bring a much heavier attack. Keep an eye on the cooldown shown on your screen so you know when your wand is ready again.

Chaos Wands works especially well when you’re in the mood to experiment. You can gather the ingredients in survival and see which wand is worth making first, or spend some time testing their effects in an open area. The results can be entertaining, but they can also be destructive, particularly when creepers and TNT are involved. Bring some distance between yourself and your favourite builds before trying the more explosive options. Once you’ve found a safe place to play, pick a wand, take aim and see what happens.
