AppleSkin – Bedrock Port mod
Know exactly when to eat and what to eat. AppleSkin – Bedrock Port puts a clean Saturation bar on your screen and shows, before you bite, how many shanks and how much saturation your held food will restore. The second you swap to steak, carrots, or a custom food from another pack, you see the preview and make the call—top off now for regen or save it for later so you don’t waste value.

In survival runs this changes your rhythm. Mining deep? You’ll pace snacks so your saturation never hits zero, keeping regen steady without over-eating. On long treks, you’ll stash a smart mix—high-sat mains for camps, quick fillers for mid-fight top-offs—and AppleSkin tells you which one makes sense in the moment. On servers and Realms, it cuts the “do I eat yet?” hesitation; you glance at the bar, read the preview, and stay moving with your squad instead of opening the inventory for guesswork.

It’s also great for farms and custom kitchens. Because the preview works with custom foods, you can test your balance on the fly: bake a new item, hold it, check the numbers, and decide if it earns a permanent chest slot. The port does have Bedrock-UI limits—no Exhaustion bar and no restored-health preview—and it injects a new jsonUi element via titles, which means it’s incompatible with add-ons that also use titles. That tradeoff keeps the overlay snappy without touching player.json or breaking achievements in typical setups.

If you want Minecraft Bedrock to respect your food economy like a proper RPG meter, AppleSkin – Bedrock Port is the tiny HUD upgrade that makes every bite count.
