UM AMETHYST Mod / Addon

The UM Amethyst mod takes one of Minecraft Bedrock’s coolest mechanics — budding amethyst — and cranks it up with a twist. Instead of only growing the usual purple crystals, this addon lets you craft budding blocks for all kinds of ores like coal, iron, gold, and more. Place one down, and over time it will start growing shiny crystal clusters based on that ore.

I tested it in survival, and it’s a game-changer. I made a Budding Coal Block, and soon little black coal clusters started forming on the sides. Breaking them gave me Coal Amethyst Shards, which feel like a new resource you actually want to collect. Iron and gold versions look awesome too, and watching a wall of mixed budding blocks slowly sprout crystals is super satisfying.



It’s not just pretty either — these shards give you new progression paths. Farming crystals instead of strip-mining every ore makes survival more creative. You can design entire crystal farms underground and actually feel rewarded just by waiting and harvesting.

Installation:

- Use Minecraft
- Open the downloaded file to install;
- Select it in the settings;
