For branch mining, I’ll run a main shaft, then pop 3×3 side lanes every few chunks so ores can’t hide behind single-block walls. Quarries get fun too—mark a rectangle and step-layer the ground until you’ve got a perfect building pad without staircase scars. Just watch your footing; a 3×3 bite can drop you into a cave or open a lava window if you’re greedy. I keep a water bucket, some cobble, and torches on hotbar to lock down surprises fast.



Building is where it really sings. Need a storage room or a mega-farm footprint? Two or three passes and the space is roughed in, then you swap back to a normal pick for detail work. The Nether benefits, too: carve safe-width tunnels with quick torch marks so ghasts can’t grief your route. You’re still playing legit Minecraft Bedrock—gather, plan, execute—but the Vanilla Hammers Addon turns big ideas into doable weekend projects. Line up the shot, break 3×3, and let the world open up.
