Fake Ores Addon for Minecraft Bedrock lets you craft decoy ore blocks and prank your friends—drop “too-good-to-be-true” veins in mines and watch players bite the bait.

In my test run I laced a strip-mine branch with “lucky” finds every ten blocks. The squad went silent in voice chat the second they spotted the shine and started chiseling like maniacs. Drop a fake cluster at the end of a dead-end tunnel, near lava sounds, or right beside a turn so they sprint past and double back—it sells the illusion. Around bases, the decoys are perfect honey pots: sprinkle “rare” ore in a side room and boom—intruders funnel exactly where you want them while you circle for the catch.





The best part is how flexible it is. Use fake ores as breadcrumbs to lead friends into a scavenger route, stack them with real ore to make the whole vein feel legit, or throw a few in abandoned mineshafts so every “jackpot” turns into banter fuel. On PvP realms, decoys are a mind game—drop them along false paths to waste time for anyone tracking you. In co-op, they’re harmless fun: set up a “prospector trial,” let your crew race to mine a line of fakes mixed with real rewards, and pay out the first legit find.
