Auto Smelt Mod is pure quality-of-life for anyone who mines a lot and hates the “okay now I have to go babysit furnaces” phase. The rule is simple: every block you break that can be smelted will drop its smelted or cooked form instead of the raw material. So you’re not hauling stacks of raw stuff back to base and waiting around—you’re getting the usable version instantly.

The ore changes are the big headline. Iron Ore drops Iron Ingots instead of Raw Iron, Gold Ore drops Gold Ingots instead of Raw Gold, and Copper Ore drops Copper Ingots instead of Raw Copper. It also includes all Deepslate ore variants, so the behavior stays consistent when you’re deep underground. Ancient Debris is another huge one: instead of dropping Ancient Debris, it drops Netherite Scrap, which makes those dangerous Nether runs feel way more rewarding the second you pick up the drop.



It’s not just ores either. Sand and Red Sand drop Glass, which is insanely nice if you’re building and you don’t want to cook a mountain of sand. Clay drops Bricks (x4) instead of Clay Balls (x4), so digging clay turns into instant building materials. Kelp drops Dried Kelp, which is great when you’re grabbing food supplies or stocking up for crafting without needing a separate cooking setup. The whole vibe is “skip the furnace entirely for common materials,” and it really does change how fast you can progress during a normal survival session.

In actual gameplay, the best part is inventory value. Carrying ingots instead of raw ore keeps the same stack size but feels way more useful, because you can craft right away without going home. It also makes “quick mining trips” actually quick, since you’re not forced into a second step after you’re done collecting. One tip though: because you’re getting finished materials immediately, you can blow through progression faster than usual. If you still want your world to feel balanced, use Auto Smelt Mod as a time-saver for grinding and building supplies, not as an excuse to rush every upgrade in one night.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
