KwZ's Connected Glass Mod / Addon

Mods / Addons / Mods 1.21

KwZ's Connected Glass Mod is one of those tiny quality-of-life tweaks that makes your builds look way more polished without asking you to relearn anything. You still place regular glass like always, but the moment the block goes down, the addon quietly swaps it into a connected version. Edges between blocks disappear into one smooth texture, so big windows stop looking like a grid of framed squares and start looking like proper modern glass walls. same idea goes for panes too, so thin window frames and dividers blend together instead of chopping the view to pieces.

The nice part is that it doesn’t nuke your original glass. The mod doesn’t replace vanilla glass in the files; it just intercepts placement. That means it plays nicely with crafting, old worlds, and other content. It also sticks to vanilla textures, so whatever resource pack or shader setup you’re running will still match your connected glass. No weird off-color frames, no “this clearly came from a different game” look – if your texture pack updates glass, KwZ's Connected Glass Mod just makes that same glass connect cleanly.

It also works fine on existing worlds. If you’ve got an old base with chunky windows, you don’t need to restart; just break the glass and place it again to refresh it into the connected version. There are no experimental toggles to flip and no player.json hacks hiding under the hood, so achievements stay on and survival worlds remain legit. If you like modern houses, big city builds, or just want cleaner views out of your base, this mod quietly upgrades every window you place from now on.

Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
