More Iron Mod / Addon

More Iron Mod — stop raiding village guardians for scraps and let your pick do the talking. With this installed, iron veins appear across all Overworld biomes between level 60 and level 10 in healthy amounts, so you can mine where you like instead of chasing a “right” seed. Set a ladder shaft to a mid layer, carve neat side tunnels, and you’ll be tripping over ore while you map caves, clear ravines, or run tidy branch lines under your base.

The second tweak hits your wallet: ingots and iron blocks craft cheaper, which quietly changes everything you build. Early on, that means buckets, shears, shields, and a blast furnace without thinking twice. A session later you’re laying rails to the village, dropping hoppers for real storage, slapping down anvils to name-tag pets and roll enchants, and stacking iron blocks for beacon foundations instead of hoarding them like museum pieces. It’s the same survival loop you already love—mine, smelt, craft—but the iron bottleneck is gone, so plans happen when you think of them.

Play it your way. Prefer caving? Torch a loop at Y32–Y20 and scoop ore as you go. More of a planner? Run clean three-block branches, feed a compact smelting wall, and craft components on the spot so projects never stall. On co-op nights, split jobs: one player digs, one cooks ore and lays rails, another wires farms with pistons and minecarts. Your villages stay golem-friendly, your builds stop waiting on luck, and your world picks up speed. If you’ve ever looked at a design and said “great, but where do I get that much iron,” More Iron Mod turns the answer into “right here—grab a pick.”
