Planes Mod — takes travel off the roads and puts it in the air with a clean, early-build approach that fits right into Bedrock survival. Craft a Plane Engine first, then slot it into your frame: wooden planes use stripped logs and planks of the matching wood, bamboo planes swap those for stripped bamboo blocks and bamboo planks, and copper planes are built by surrounding the engine with copper blocks. If you want the weathered look from the start, craft with oxidized copper to get oxidized variants right away.

Copper birds keep aging in the wild, too. They naturally oxidize over roughly 900–3600 seconds, so their color shifts as you fly and park. Don’t like the patina? Hit the body with an axe to deoxidize, or lock in a finish using a honeycomb to wax the surface so it won’t change. The wooden and bamboo builds give you the light, early-game option; copper feels a bit more “showpiece” once you’ve stockpiled ore.

In play, the mod keeps things simple: hop in, throttle up, and skim forests, rivers, and mountain chains without grinding a path or spamming boats. Because it’s an early test version, expect future mechanics and customization if it gets support—but the core loop already works: craft, take off, and cover real distance fast. For quick, honest air travel on Bedrock, Planes Mod is a tidy upgrade.
