Dragon Festival Mod is a straight-up boss brawl for Minecraft Bedrock: the Vietnam Dragon (Panthenius type) packs 280 HP and a move set that forces you to learn patterns, manage space, and punish openings. Its core loop is simple—bait the cast, dodge clean, answer with damage—but the kit keeps you honest. Inferno Stream is the constant—sustained fire breath that burns down frontliners who face-tank too long. Flame Burst flips the table with a massive firewave that travels well over a hundred blocks and strips every status effect in range, so don’t bank your whole plan on potions while you’re hugging the boss. Chasing Fireball locks on and sticks to your pathing; break line of sight or snap it into cover before you go back to DPS.

The real threat is from above. Heaven’s Strike calls a direct lightning bolt on you, and Earthquake Surge spawns right under your feet, dealing damage and slowing you so follow-ups land. At 70 HP and below the dragon enrages into Thunder Barrage, dumping eight to twelve lightning bolts in quick succession. Treat that threshold like a second phase—heal up, reset buffs, and enter it on your terms.



How I beat it: run Fire Protection on armor, use shields for chip, and rely on enchants more than long-duration potions since Flame Burst wipes effects. Drop lightning rods around the arena to pull aggro from Heaven’s Strike and Barrage, keep a water bucket for burn control, and fight from mixed ranges—crossbow with Quick Charge to poke during breath, then sprint-roll in for melee punishes after casts. Feather Falling helps when quakes juggle terrain, and ender pearls are clutch for emergency repositioning when a homing shot and a quake overlap. Nail the spacing, respect the cleanse wave, and the Vietnam Dragon becomes a tight, learnable PvE boss instead of a wipe machine.
