Gapple Cows (Golden Apple Cows) Mod / Addon

If your survival runs always stall on food and clutch items, this pack flips the script. Gapple Cows brings a whole barnyard of upgrade cows into Minecraft Bedrock—Apple Cows, Golden Apple Cows, Enchanted Golden Apple Cows, and Totem Cows—each with its own habitat, breeding feed, and loot table. It plays like vanilla, just smarter: the herds spawn out in the world, you pen them up, and suddenly your base has a renewable line on apples, gapples, enchanted gapples, and even Totems of Undying while still giving normal cow loot on the side.

Early game, I track Apple Cows first since they spawn in regular biomes and on Mushroom Islands. Lure a pair home with Wheat, lock a pen, and you’ve got steady apples plus leather/beef without touching forests. Once you’re established, go hunting for Golden Apple Cows—same spawn footprint as apples, but they need Golden Wheat to breed. That’s where the economy turns: raid chests feel less mandatory when your barn can cook up gapples for raids, bastions, or deep cave pushes. The late-game prize is the Enchanted Golden Apple Cow, found only on Mushroom Islands and bred with Enchanted Golden Wheat. Secure two, and your “panic button” food becomes a legit farm output instead of a once-a-season find.



There’s a twist run, too: prowl Dark Oak/Roofed Forest for Totem Cows. Breed them with Golden Wheat and you’re printing Totems of Undying right alongside standard cow drops—perfect for hardcore-style worlds or chaotic SMP bosses. The add-on also mixes in new foods and golden/enchanted milk; pop a bottle when things get dicey and keep moving. My loop is simple: isolate habitats, build color-coded pens, stock the right wheat variants, then rotate harvests—apples for trading and pies, gapples for dungeon crawls, enchanted gapples for “I refuse to die,” and totems for everything else.



It still feels like Minecraft Bedrock—explore, corral, breed, profit—but with a top-shelf safety net baked into your ranch. If you want progression that rewards smart husbandry instead of pure RNG, Gapple Cows turns your pasture into the most valuable room in the base.
