GRTC: Gibonz Railway Train Controller mod
If you’ve ever wanted your Minecraft Bedrock rails to feel like an actual subway cab, this is the switch you’ve been waiting to throw. GRTC (Gibonz Railway Train Controller) hands you a clean, hands-on control panel so you can drive, platform, and recover like a real operator instead of pushing minecarts and praying. The hook is simple: you get proper forward/backward movement with an emergency brake for when things get spicy, and you’ve got dedicated door control—open/close, or left/right sides only—for tidy station stops without clown cars.
The basics hit hard. Roll out with Forward/Backward, feather speed, and tap Emergency Brake when a signal turns red or a player steps on the track. On approach, pop Door Open Close or run Left/Right only to match your platform. Hit the Horn before departure, and check Stats to see how fast you’re actually moving. If a run goes sideways, Reset the whole GRTC or use Teleport to yank a derailed trainset back on the line. Direction lets you set which way the train will go along the X/−X or Y/−Y axis—stand at the front of your consist, choose the heading, and you’re lined up for the next leg. Need to clear the track? Kill removes the trainset, no drama.
For setup and operations, keep three tools in your hotbar: Key, Chair, and Bogie. The Key binds control to the matching trainset (the A trainset uses the A key—don’t forget to equip it). Place Chair pieces along the rails and run the train through them so your cars gain proper seating—now passengers can sit anywhere you planned. Drop the Bogie at the very back end of the trainset to finish the consist layout and smooth running. From there you can do legit commuter patterns: time your stops, side-door for island platforms, recover a derail without deleting the world, and run a tidy depot exit with Direction set before dawn.
This is the rail sandbox you wanted—real throttle, real doors, real recoveries—without turning Bedrock into a flight sim. Build your line, wire your stations, and make the horn mean something.
