Real Player CCTV | A Simple Live Monitoring Tablet Mod adds video surveillance to Minecraft Bedrock. Your friend swears they're peacefully mining diamonds, but the next thing you know, they're sprinting through the Nether with a ghast chasing them. Real Player CCTV lets you watch other players live through a special tablet in Minecraft Bedrock, giving server operators a front row seat to whatever chaos their friends are getting into, even when they're exploring a completely different dimension.
Forget building a giant security room filled with redstone circuits and complicated camera systems. This addon keeps things surprisingly simple. Hold the CCTV tablet, use it to open a menu, and choose the player you want to observe. Once you confirm your selection, the camera automatically follows that person, showing their movements as they explore, build, fight, or get themselves into trouble. You don't have to chase them across the map or constantly teleport between locations. The tracking even works between the Overworld, Nether, and End, which is particularly useful when everyone on your server has wandered off in different directions. When you're finished watching, just sneak to exit the monitoring view. There's no need to memorize a bunch of commands, either. I can already imagine checking on a friend who disappeared into a cave twenty minutes ago, only to discover they've been digging straight down with absolutely no plan for getting home.
Where this Minecraft CCTV addon gets really interesting is multiplayer events. Say you're hosting a survival competition where everyone has to collect certain materials before the timer runs out. Instead of following one contestant around and missing everything else, you can switch between players and watch their progress. Someone might be carefully gathering resources while another person is already fighting blazes with almost no armor. That sounds like a pretty entertaining evening to me. It also works nicely for parkour tournaments, treasure hunts, adventure maps, and roleplay servers. You could act as a tournament referee, observe a building contest, or simply watch your friends attempt a difficult challenge without getting in their way. Just remember that this is a live player monitoring tool, not a system for recording footage and playing it back later. If you want to capture those ridiculous moments for a video, you'll still need your usual recording software.
There's one important restriction: the CCTV tablet is intended for operators, so ordinary players won't automatically get access to everyone else's camera view. That's a sensible choice for servers where monitoring is supposed to be handled by administrators. The tablet has its own custom appearance and can be crafted using regular survival materials, although operator permissions are still required to use its monitoring functions. Installation is straightforward: import the addon into Minecraft and activate its resource and behavior packs in the world settings. Experimental features aren't required for the basic system. I'd try it first with a couple of friends who know they're participating, then see how it handles everyone moving around different areas. Real Player CCTV is especially appealing if you enjoy organizing multiplayer activities but hate spending half the session teleporting around just to figure out what's happening. Sometimes the funniest part of a Minecraft adventure is watching somebody else's terrible decision unfold.
Installation Mod:
- Download the .mcaddon / .mcpack;
- Open the file to import into the game;
- In World Settings → Resource Packs and Behavior Packs, enable it (turn on Experiments if needed);
- Have fun!
