Temple Run (Minecraft Edition) Map

Adventure Maps / Minigame Maps / Parkour Maps

Temple Run (Minecraft Edition) A parkour map with various traps in the Temple style. You’ve found the temple, spotted the gem, and reached out to take it. That’s when the guard appears. Apparently, the treasure wasn’t abandoned after all.

Temple Run (Minecraft Edition) turns that unlucky discovery into a parkour adventure. The temple is set in the Kingdom of Sky, and your job is to get away with the gem while a dangerous guard follows you. There are obstacles to get past, coins to collect, and checkpoints to look for along the route. If you remember playing Temple Run, you’ll recognise the idea, though here you’ll be making the jumps yourself in Minecraft.

Before picking up the gem, it’s worth remembering that the chase starts as soon as you hold it. Once the guard appears, you’ll need to move through the course and deal with whatever gets in your way. Some jumps may take a few attempts, especially if you’re trying to hurry. The pressure can make you miss a landing that looked easy a moment earlier. Don’t worry if the first run goes badly; getting familiar with the route is part of learning how to escape.

Checkpoints make the journey a little more forgiving. They appear as pressure plates between birch planks, and you need to stand on one to save your progress. When you’ve finally made it past a section that gave you trouble, seeing one of those plates is a welcome sight. Try to notice them as you go rather than focusing only on the next jump. A saved checkpoint means you can concentrate on the obstacle ahead instead of worrying about repeating everything you’ve already completed.

You can also collect coins during the run. These are represented by gold pressure plates, so you’ll need to step on them to pick up the coins. It’s tempting to go after every one you see, but doing that while staying on course may take some practice. You could focus on reaching the end during your first attempt, then return and try to collect more once you’re comfortable with the route. That gives you a small goal for another playthrough, even after you’ve managed to escape the guard.

There’s an unusual detail to watch for, too: a fence is used to represent a rope. When you come across it, run underneath to use it. It’s one of those little Minecraft solutions that makes sense once you know what you’re looking at, though it might not be obvious the first time you see it. Between that, the pressure plates, and the parkour, the map uses familiar Minecraft elements to recreate the feeling of a temple escape.

This is a single-player map, so you’ll be making the run on your own. If you enjoy parkour, you can treat it as a chance to practise keeping your movement steady when the route gets busy. If you’re here because you like Temple Run, there’s the pleasure of seeing a familiar chase take shape in a different game. Either way, the aim is simple enough: take the gem, get past the obstacles, and don’t let the guard catch you.

You probably won’t get every jump right immediately, and that’s fine. Learn where the checkpoints are, pick up the coins you can reach, and keep going. The guard may have done a poor job of stopping you from taking the treasure, but getting away with it is another matter.
