It’s a strange little contrast to the empty sky around it: colorful enough to feel welcoming, but still isolated enough that you’ll want to look around carefully. Check the huts and take in the layout before deciding where to go next. If you’re playing with friends, it could make a good meeting point while everyone works out a route through the archipelago. You can choose a landmark to regroup at, compare what you’ve found, and decide who’s carrying the blocks for the next crossing.



Then there’s Hell Island, which makes that peaceful mushroom stop feel like a warm-up. Dark cliffs, lava, and fortress structures give this part of the map a much harsher look. Blazes and piglins add reasons to keep your weapon ready, and fighting near lava or an exposed edge is a bad time to discover you’re low on health. Pack food before you head over and think about how you’ll get back if the fight goes sideways. A narrow bridge might be enough to reach the island, but you may want a safer route for the return trip. There’s also a Christmas-themed island with snowy trees, festive decorations, and cottages—a pretty wild change of scenery after a visit to the lava.

The fun is choosing your own route and seeing what each place has to offer. You might spend an evening connecting islands, checking out buildings, or setting up a small base where you can store supplies between trips. With friends, one person can work on the crossings while another scouts the next destination; just make sure everyone knows which bridge leads home. Some locations and features can vary across the available downloads, so explore the map you choose and see what’s there.
